課程概述 |
針對大學部二年級以上對遺傳與演化生物學有興趣的同學設計系列科學議題的討論，修課學生與教師於每週定期討論，在討論的過程中授課教師將與學生將針對彼此有興趣的課題，交換意見。100 學年度的課程將以遺傳學的研究發展為主軸，經由閱讀遺傳學經典論文(Classical literature)，深入了解重要科學成果的實驗細節與邏輯。

課程目標 |
課程也將注重科學研究方法 (Scientific Skills) 的訓練，為初次修習專題研究的同學奠定未來進入科學研究的基礎。教師也將協助大學部學生發掘研究興趣，在教師指導下針對遺傳、演化的特定主題進行小規模的實驗。 |

課程要求 |
學生應已修習普通生物學。參與學生將與授課老師每週討論閱讀進度與研究興趣，期末繳交報告一篇。 |
